Intel are releasing a new 24 core Xeon monster soon which it says will revolutionise
the speed and performance of high end servers.
The Xeon E7-8890 is part of the 8800 V4 series that INTEL announced on Monday.
They are also releasing a new 10 core chip for high end gaming rigs code-named Broadwell-E.
INTEL envision the new E7 series will be used mainly by high uptime servers such as banks and other industries.
No word on price yet, however they won't be cheap.
